3. What's on the server?

  1. Static Content - a content that is read from the hard-disk and broadcast to the users in a non-altered form.
  2. Server-side Generated Content - a content that invokes a callback on the server side, that spits out content to the user. (possibly based on user parameters like HTTP parameters, cookies, the URL path, etc.)
